Project Highlights
The Fastest Project
QD-SBG Construction WLL is a leading civil and building construction company offering diversified general contracting and design-build services to clients across Qatar. The reputed construction company had a large project to build the landmark, Lucille Tower Plaza, that when completed, will stand at over 80 stories high. We at Swan Global are proud to have been involved in this project from its very foundation.
The unique challenge here came with a global timeline– to be completed before the FIFA World Cup. The challenges for building for such a recognised megaevent is that the standards to be met are of extremely high quality. The construction company needed to find highly qualified resources, that passed the highest standard screening parameters within a very tight deadline.
They brought in Swan Global to run a massive recruitment drive. In two days we met over 600 candidates. The candidates went through multiple rounds of screening. Starting with a written test, which shortlisted the candidates down to 200, which was further distilled into an interview round with senior management from QD-SBG.
The Most-Specialised Project
Saipem S.p.A. (Società Anonima Italiana Perforazioni E Montaggi lit. Drilling and Assembly Italian Public Limited Company) is a leading global player in the Oil and Gas sector. The Italian multinational specialises in oilfield services and is often in need of highly specialized white-collared staff.
The Saipem team called on Swan Global for a highly complex recruitment project that needed an unprecedented turnaround time. The project required us to onboard 25 mid-to-senior staff members, across a range of positions– in office, at site, on and off-shore. Roles included simpler roles like office secretary, to far more complex roles like senior engineers and a senior expeditor.
In a normal circumstance, with any other team, this would have taken over six months time. However, walking hand-in-hand with the client, we onboarded all required teammates in under 60 days.
