Jacob Kurian
Founder
Jacob Kurian focuses on the big-picture vision work for Swan Global, and is explicitly called a “visionary” by his teammates. He enjoys setting specific goals and strategizing on how to tackle it. He focuses on company vision, planning growth, strategy and creating new associations.
Having spent over a decade as a founder for a series of ventures, he now finds most satisfaction in applying large masses of people to work on solving some of the world’s big challenges. His core competency lies in applying the right people to the right challenge. This has become apparent at Swan Global where he now does this with 1000s of individuals.
Coming from a long-line of construction entrepreneurs in the South of India, Jacob entered the Qatari market to first provide housing solutions, and now staffing solutions. On this journey he has come to serve some of the nation’s most notable names, including the royal family.
Benson Mathew
CEO | Partner
This is the second time that Benson Mathew is leading an organisation with 1000s of employees on the payroll. The last time he worked his way up from the bottom of the organization. Now at Swan Global Benson oversees sales and partnerships. He says that he discovered his flair for sales by accident when he started out many years ago as a Sales Engineer elsewhere in the GCC. His strength lies in his attention to details in projects, or details in inter-personal relationships– like names and numbers.
He is passionate about football and calls Messi the greatest player of all time. However on a personal level, he identifies with Messi, because the football star suffered from a growth hormone deficiency as a child, but fought against all odds to become a world-class athlete. Benson recalls his own challenge as a child that was smaller than his peers, but eventually went on to become his college football captain four years in a row. He now brings that personal drive to everything he does, including solving some of the middle east’s major staffing challenges.
